Patricia Ann Lippert

Patricia “Ann” Lippert, 83, passed away, surrounded by her loving family on August 11, 2023 at Prairie Vista Village in Altoona, IA. She was born March 14, 1940 to Arthur “Clarence” Tart and Hattie “Geneva” Duckworth Tart in Morganton, NC.

Ann met and fell in love with Larry Dean Lippert in Fayetteville, NC, while he was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC. They married on January 4, 1958. Together they raised three children and made their home in Des Moines, IA. Ann loved her family and was a devoted wife.

Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Larry D. Lippert; by her parents, Clarence, and Geneva Tart; brother, Tommy Tart.

Ann is survived by her children; Randy D. Lippert, Kimberly D. Lippert, and Timothy R. Lippert; grandchildren, Adam (Ashlan) Lippert, Erin (Clayton) Vance, and Jeremy (Joni Ploeger) Lippert; great grandchildren, Adelyn Vance, and Ellis Lippert; brother, Donnie (Darlene) Tart; as well as other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines, IA. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 at the funeral home, with a 1:30 p.m. graveside service at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Bloomfield, IA.
