Rosa Olinda Orellana

Rosa Orellana, 55, passed away at home, surrounded by her loving family, on August 10, 2023.

Rosa was born August 30, 1967 to Raul Orellana and Angel Maria Perez in El Salvador. She was a hard -working woman. In her free time, she enjoyed working in her garden. She loved all flowers, especially roses.

She is survived by her husband, Juan Leiva; her children, Jennifer, Amy and Jair Orellana; and her grandchildren and siblings; and a host of other family and friends.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Aquiles Orellana.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street in Des Moines with funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. noon on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Glendale Cemetery, 4909 University Avenue in Des Moines.
