Jeffrey A. Lawrence

Jeffrey Allen Lawrence, age 31, was taken from this life much too soon doing what he loved on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Methodist Medical Center due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Jeff was born September 19, 1991, in Des Moines, Iowa. He loved motorcycles, and really anything with wheels. He worked as a mechanic for Kent Mobile Repair and was knowledgeable about home and car audio. He also enjoyed fishing and was a gun enthusiast. Jeff loved to have fun and hang with his friends. He was always smiling and laughing. He was a character and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his fiancé, Kylie Warren and their daughter, Ellie Lawrence; stepsons, Kaden Sudbrock and Kohen Warren; mother, Erica Ploessel (Robert “Beaver” Ewurs); father, Rodney Lawrence (Tammy Vanderpool); twin sister, Sarah Lawrence; brothers, Joshua Lawrence, Travis Lawrence, and Matthew Lawrence; and Matthew's mom, Tina Major, who was like a second mom to Jeff. In addition, Jeff is survived by Traci Schreckenbach, who was also like a second mom to him, and her sons, Jacob Snider and Jordan Snider, who were bonus brothers to Jeff. Also, his best friend, Dylan Kent (Rachel); aunt, Kelly Tiernan (Jack); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Apologies if any names were forgotten – Jeff loved everyone.

Jeff was preceded in death by his uncles, Karl Ploessel and Jay Dee Lawrence; paternal grandparents, Ron and Linda Lawrence; and maternal grandparents, Melvin Ploessel and Joyce Anthony.

Cremation will occur and there will be a celebration of life at Big Creek Beach Shelter #1, in Polk City. Family would like everyone to meet at Kung Fu at 11 a.m., Sunday, September 17th and ride out to Big Creek State Park together.
