Raymond Koontz

Raymond John Koontz, 44, left his loved ones on August 9th, 2023. Ray was born February 17th, 1979 to JoAnn McVicker and John Raymond Koontz.

Raymond loved spending time with his father riding bikes and was always the funniest person in the room. Ray had a way of making your heart feel full just being nearby. Ray was intelligent, funny, kind, and loyal among so many other things. Ray brought so much joy and light to his family and friends lives. The time spent with Ray was always special and the most memorable.

Raymond is survived by his father, John Koontz; mother, JoAnn McVicker; stepfather, John Regina; sister, Jessica Valdez; daughter, Vanessa Lynn Koontz; loving girlfriend, Melissa Cardines and her daughter, Everly; cousins, Joe and Luke Wayman and Derrick and Robin Jennings; aunts, Becky Wayman and Stef Christy; uncles, Mike Jennings and Bill DeMoss. Raymond was loved by so many others who will also miss him every day.

Raymond was living a beautiful life that ended unexpectedly and far too soon. He will always be loved and remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
