Donald Roger Chisholm, age 73, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family.

Donald was born October 21, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan to Margaret and James Chisholm. He graduated from Hazel Park High School in Hazel Park, Michigan in 1968. He dedicated over 30 years at Chrysler in Michigan. He also worked as a firefighter in Texas for many years. He enjoyed woodworking, crosswords, and puzzles.

He will be remembered by his wife, Cheri Chisholm; his children, Donald (Steve), Larry (Colleen), Colleen, Christina (Troy), Angie (Chuck), Jennifer, Malina (Cole), and Tori (John); grandchildren, Savannah (Austin), Jacob (Lexi), Evelyn, Chris (Ashlee), Dwight, Jaydan, Brandon, Kylo, Violet, Zachary, and Juliet; great-grandchildren, Lita, London, Maverick, Remi, Eternity, D3, Oakland, Aza’riah, Babygirl Jones, Bodhi, and Oakley; siblings, Peggy (Ernie), Rick, and Geri; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and James; best friend, Tim Gibson; brothers, William and David; brother-in-law, Rusty Lainson; and his beloved dog, Miley.

According to the family’s wishes, cremation will occur and there will be no formal services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Donald.
