Marilyn Moore Bradley

Marilyn J. Doviddio Moore Bradley, 92, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2023, at Ramsey Village in Des Moines.

Marilyn was born March 15, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa to James J. and Mary (Martin) Doviddio. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy. She was an exemplary businesswoman, working as a Life Insurance Agent for Principal Financial, and as a Loan Officer for Brenton Bank.

Marilyn married Eldon Duane Moore. Together they had four children and devoted many years to one another. Marilyn and Eldon were the owners and managers of numerous rental properties for over 40 years.

Marilyn was devout in her faith. She was a member of St. Augustin Catholic Church and donated many hours to the church in volunteer capacities.

After Eldon’s passing, Marilyn married Daniel C. Bradley. She will be remembered as a very loving and giving person. She will be greatly missed.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Dan Bradley and his family; children, Stephan Moore, Cheryl Christie (Michael), Kerry Moore, and Lauri Seidl (Phillip), six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eldon Moore.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 11, 2023, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 1230 Merle Hay Road, Des Moines, IA 50311. Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines after the services.
