Bouaphanh Vannaseng

Bouaphanh Vannaseng, the loving mother of seven, passed away at her home on July 22, 2023, at the age of 84.

Bouaphanh was born on October 14, 1938, in Laos. She came to the United States in 1989. Bouaphanh was devoted to her religion and her family. She faithfully went to the temple daily. Bouaphanh dedicated her life to the Phothisomphan Meditation Monastery. When her children were growing up she took them to the Watloa Buddhavath.

Bouaphanh enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She made every piece of clothing she ever wore. Bouaphanh loved spending time in her garden and going on nature walks.

Bouaphanh is survived by her seven children and many grandchildren.

Son Bounchanh Vannaseng, wife Onta Sylundone, Grandsons, Souhtivan Vannaseng, Souhtione Vannaseng, Kathing Vannaseng, and Granddaughter Noun Vannaseng.

Son Houmphang Vannaseng, wife Amy Thounskane, Grandson, Toum Thounskane, wife of Toum, Cynthia Hoang, great grandchildren Vincent and Faye. Grandson Mark Thounskane, wife Dakenya Thounskane. Granddaughter Jenny Vannaseng and Grandson Jeremiah Vannaseng.

Son Phetsamone Vannaseng, wife Da Bounsari, Granddaughters Kali Bounsari and Kaylin Vannaseng, Grandson Andy Vannaseng.

Daughter Vilaiphone Khamboun, granddaughter Linda Barnabo, husband Cole Barnabo, great-granddaughter Emma. Granddaughter Chinda Khamboun.

Daughter Vone Vannaseng, husband Kevin Menke, granddaughter Greta Williams, husband Julius Williams, great-grandsons Malichai and Kendrick, and great-granddaughters Ajaya and Aeri. Granddaughter Kieta Chatteron, husband Tyler Chatteron, and great-granddaughter Theia. Grandson David Thiravong, wife Doua Vang.

Son Tony Vannaseng, grandson Tyler Vannaseng, wife Nina Vo. Granddaughter Kristi Vannaseng, husband David Nguyen.

Daughter Kesone Vannaseng, granddaughter Megan Thoprakane and grandson Chris Thoprakane.

She was preceded in death by her husband Nak Vannaseng and son-in-law Mike Khamboun husband of Vilaiphone Khamboun.

The family will greet friends Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with the service to follow at 2 p.m. at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery, 121 NW 60th Avenue.
