Carol A. Lucia

Carol A. Lucia, 62, of Des Moines passed away peacefully June 27, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Carol spent many years working in the dental field. She fully enjoyed everything family, whether it was camping and boating, spending time by her pool, barbecuing with family and friends or making her yard beautiful with flowers and plants. Several parties were hosted by her and everyone invited always had the time of their life. Carol also enjoyed cooking, baking and several different crafts. Carol’s greatest passion was loving up her grandkids.

Carol is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tony; daughters, Amy (Nate) Adams and Stephanie (Kori) Moore; her four amazing grandkids; sister, Donna Misso; and her brother, John Coglizer.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; mother, Barbara; brother, Fred; and her sister, Vicki.

A huge debt of gratitude goes out to the team at Unity Point At-Home Hospice, you are truly all angels.

The family will hold a private funeral with cremation to follow.
