Jean Marie Greenfield

Jean Marie Greenfield, age 77, passed away peacefully at her home in Des Moines with her family by her side on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.

Jean was born January 7, 1946, to Paul H. and Hilda (Teasdale) Mittelstadt in Omaha, Nebraska. She has been a resident of the Des Moines area since 1967. She dedicated her life to service, working as a Registered Nurse for Iowa Methodist Hospital, retiring in February of 2012. Jean attended Evangelical Covenant Church.

Cremation will occur and Jean will be interred at Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date.

I knew Jean through my girlfriend Ruth Kleen. Jean was a great lady and had lots of memories when us 4 girls Ruth, Jean, Jan and myself went to Orlando Florida, and went from there to a cruise to the Bahamas. Had a fantastic time there. Jean you were the best. Glad I got to spend time with you back in 1999. Rest in peace!! My sympathy to the family of Jean Greenfield.
