Roby Price

Roby Eugene Price, 62, of Des Moines, IA passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Roby was born to Shirley Hansen and Fred Price on November 1, 1960. He grew up and lived in Des Moines, IA most of his life.

Roby enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Some of his hobbies were having a good time, fishing, and casino games. He was always quick to share his sense of humor with others.

Roby will be remembered by: daughters Josie Price and Brandy Reid, son William Chapman, step-daughter Jami McNabb, 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his 4 legged comfort companion Cali, sisters Billie McCaughey and Michelle Jones (Bruce), and many other family and friends.

Roby was preceded in death by mother Shirley Hansen, brother Cole Radke, brother-in-law Mark Stinson, grandparents, and other family members.

Roby my friend of many years I will miss you terribly. We shared many experiences through the years, most good, but some bad (according to others). You were a true, tough as nails, tell it like it is, loyal friend. You leave a hole that will never be filled. Thank you for being my friend Roby.

Pop's although I only knew you for a short while, I will never forget the conversations and good company you shared with me. I will never forget the advice you offered in exchange for my friendship and listening ear.. I will honestly never forget you pop, I only knew you for a short period of time but it felt like I knew you my whole life!! Thankyou for being there for me when I needed you and for never turning your back on me I love you Roby and I hope to see you again someday you will forever be in my memory's and heart until we meet again old man I hope you always watch over our entire family!! I love you dad and I miss you buddy!!!
