Kim Bartelt

Kim Bartelt, age 63, born July 13, 1959, and passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, Iowa.

Kim was a very strong and resilient person. She had a giving nature and was a natural caretaker. She was very intelligent and enjoyed sewing, cooking, and baking. Kim was a critical care/cardiac intensive care nurse in Des Moines for most of her working life. She also worked as a traveling nurse in Arizona and loved her time there.

She is survived by her parents, Muriel Robinson and Ray Robinson (Ann); children, Blake (Angelina) Bartelt, Kasi Bartelt, and Walker (Marissa) Bartelt; grandchildren, Malakai, Wilder, Vince, and Ruthie; brother, Kyle Robinson (RaeAnn); and her husband, Mike Bartelt.

Kim was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Services will be held Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by memorial service at 12:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue, Des Moines. Urn burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery after the service.
