Cheryl Allison

Cheryl A. Allison, 46, of Des Moines passed away on November 26, 2009, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. She will be cremated, and a memorial visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home. Burial of the cremains will be held at a later date at Berwick Cemetery, with her father Charles Mincks.

She had previously been employed at Iowa Health and loved shopping and spending time being outside planting and taking care of flowers. Cheryl enjoyed following her nieces and nephews sporting activities. She especially loved watching her son Sammy race motocross and enjoyed all the friends she made through motocross over the years.

She is survived by her husband Sam; her daughter Heather Allison; her son Sammy Allison; her mom Agnes Mincks; her three brothers, Earl (Deb) Mincks and their children Lincoln and Taylor, Kevin (Kathy) Mincks and their son Kyle, and Kenny (Marcia) Mincks and their children Ashley and Shelby.
