Kelli Ann Kaili Edmond

Kelli Ann Kaili Edmond, 45, of Des Moines, passed away June 15, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City.

Kelli was bon on April 24, 1978 to David and Susan (McGriff) Kaili in Des Moines, Iowa. She was a lifelong resident of the southside and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1996.

Kelli met the love of her life, Jamall “J.” Edmond in 2013. Their paths had crossed many times in more than 20 years but they never officially met until then. They were united in marriage on September 20, 2016.

Kelli was preceded in death by her mother, Susan (McGriff) Kaili; paternal grandfather, David Kaili Jr.; and her maternal grandparents, Harry and Mary Ellen McGriff.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jamall; her children, son, Joseph and daughter, Sydni; stepsons, Kyle and Collins; father, David (Linda) Kaili; brother, David Kaili IV; grandmother, Beverly Kaili; mother-in-law, Deanna Edmond, all of Des Moines; along with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Per her wishes, Kelli’s body was cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
