Kimberly Ann Bright was a devoted wife, cherished mother, and an incredible source of love and support for all who knew her.

Born on November 6, 1987, in Grand Rapids, MI, Kimberly was a beacon of light in the lives of her family and friends. Kimberly grew up in Mulberry, FL. She married her soulmate, Marlon Bright, on October 26, 2014, and together they built a beautiful life filled with love and happiness in Torrance, CA and West Des Moines, IA.

As a mother, Kimberly was unparalleled in her dedication and selflessness. She raised three wonderful children, Lillian, Maxwell, and Langston, instilling in them the values of compassion, kindness, and resilience. Her unwavering love gave them the foundation to grow into the incredible individuals they are today.

Beyond her role as a wife and mother, Kimberly touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity. She was known for her kind heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or provide words of comfort. Her infectious smile lit up every room she entered, and her positive spirit was felt by all who met her.

In her free time, Kimberly enjoyed listening to music, investing in her children, spending time with family and friends, studying the Bible, and travelling with her family and husband. She had a passion for leading her household and her creativity knew no bounds.

Kimberly joins in eternity her son, Marlon Bright Jr.; brother, Bradley Saunders; and her relatives who have gone before. She is survived by her husband, Marlon; three children, Lillian (10), Maxwell (6), and Langston (3); her mother, Margie Bivins; her sister, Syreeda Battle; and numerous loving family and friends.

Kimberly leaves behind a profound legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. While her physical presence may be missed, her spirit will continue to live on through the lives she touched. She will forever remain in the hearts of her beloved spouse, children, extended family, and dear friends.

May Kimberly's soul find eternal peace and may her memory forever be a blessing to us all.

Regarding memorials, the show of support via the MealTrain site set up for us has been unbelievable. We could not imagine that level of love and support. We are beyond grateful. Therefore, we request nothing further. Yet those still seeking to do something in Kimberly's honor can consider the following options in lieu of flowers: contribution to the Lighthouse Foundation of Corinth, MS: Light House Corinth as Kimberly and Marlon have a unique, fantastic story and a big part of that story is the community ministry of the Lighthouse Foundation and the role it played in our story book meeting. Or a contribution to our children's educational funds: Ugift529 [codes: Lillian > 57P-G7C; Maxwell > 598-488; Langston > 83S-C3B] will honor Kimberly’s memory through helping to sustain a solid future foundation for our children in her memory.
