Elizabeth Ann Marley, 91, passed away on June 12, 2023, at EveryStep Kavanagh House.
Elizabeth was born September 20, 1931, in Des Moines, Iowa to Walter and Irene (Fillman) Hughes. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, animals, collecting stamps, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and old Western TV shows.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Deborah Marley, Lorraine Brockman, and Barbara Carter; her Grandchildren: Jeremy (Amber) Lewis, Anne (Scott) Crannell, Ben (Kyra) Bingaman, Chris (Katie Hollicker) Bingaman, Matthew Carter, Jenn Matherly; eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Marley; and her sister, Martha Bishop.
A private graveside service will be held at Glendale Cemetery.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. I was Elizabeth's caregiver and so enjoyed coming over to visit and help out She was a very caring soul with just a little stubbornness. She tried to do as much as she could herself but what she couldn't do any longer, I helped put with. She loved her family so much and was very proud of them all. Deb& Family: please except our condolences to all the family. I am sure she was a kind & caring mother. It is hard to loose a parent even though she is reunited with family in heaven. Our thoughts & prayers are with you.
