Douglas Ray Hart

Douglas “Doug” Ray Hart passed away at the University of Iowa Hospital on June 5, 2023 at the age of 75.

Doug was born November 22, 1947 in Wolkville, Indiana to Lawton and Avis Hart. He was currently the warehouse manager for Rising Star & All Iowa. Doug enjoyed riding his motorcycle, dancing and socializing with friends and attending sporting events for his three grandsons.

Doug is survived by his daughter, Amanda Lucas; son-in-law, Joe Lucas; grandsons, Hayden, Mason and Sawyer; and his sisters, Clydia and LaRaleyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Kathy Gill.

A Celebration of life will be held at the Croatian Slavic Center, 6575 Indianola Ave. on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 6-10 pm. Doug's favorite band will be playing from 7-10 pm.
