Erna Warren

Erna Lee Warren, 84, passed away on June 6, 2023, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born in Randalia, Iowa, on February 8, 1939 to Edward and Lois (Shepard) Bellis.

She worked at Napa Auto Parts for 31 years and after her retirement she stayed busy working at Mercy Hospital.

Erna is survived by her son Danny (Doug Hansen) Warren, jr; daughter, Shawnda (Bud) Meyer; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Sheryl Calhoun and Jean Scigliano; brothers, Larry (Martha) Bellis and Steve (Sue) Bellis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Timothy; infant daughter, Susan and brother, Buddy Bellis.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Valley View Village, 2571 Guthrie Ave., Des Moines, Iowa. The family will receive visitors at Valley View Village prior to services starting at 10:00 a.m. Parking is limited so the family asks that you please carpool.
