Bradd Rife
June 04, 2023
Bradd Rife, age 51, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 4, 2023. He was born the son of Dennis & Beverly Rife on October 10, 1971 in Des Moines, Iowa
Bradd graduated from East High School and was a self-employed painter for 20+ years. He welcomed his son Baylor into the world in 2012, and absolutely loved being a father. He was an avid Iowa State Cyclones and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He loved taking his son to Arrowhead to catch a game and going to sprint car racing in his younger days. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, especially at Leech Lake. Bradd will be lovingly remembered as easy going, fun, and incredibly caring person. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Bradd will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son Baylor Rife, mother & father Beverly and Dennis Rife, brother Chadd Rife, nieces & nephews Chelsea (Frank), Betsy, Frankie, and Bane, bonus daughter Betsy Cleghorn, aunts & uncles Diane, Bill, Lloyd, and Sharon, and a host of extended family and friends.
Bradd was preceded in death by his grandpa & grandma Rife, grandpa & grandma Crabb, and his cousin Ryan Thompson.
Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Runnells Community Center, 108 Brown Street, Runnells, Iowa, 50237.

Bradd & the Rife family have been our dear neighbors for many years. We loved watching Bradd work with the kids on baseball & football & whatever they were doing. Just last week he helped me cut out an invasive climbing plant that was taking over out fence. I hadnt asked-he just knew I was struggling so he got his saws-all & took care of it. We will miss his laugh, playing with the dog, Hunter Max, and the kids & helping his family. Many prayers for Bev, Dennis, Chad & Baylor. You are loved!

I'm so sorry to hear of Bradd's passing. We lost our son Dax, at 23 years old, on June 11th 2011.It still hurts today.A parent should never have to bury a child of theirs. I remember selling Bradd's parents their first home.I hope you can find peace.

Baylor and family, Bradd will be missed a ton. He was always willing to assist at the baseball practices and games. Bradd was one of a kind. Brad treated Cein like his own son and loved him as such. He treated every boy that played with Baylor the same and cared for them as well. keeping the family in our thoughts and prayers. Love, The Lunas
