Sue Ann Dankbar passed away in loving care and no pain on May 28, 2023, at age 71 while on her last hoorah vacation to Galena Illinois. She will be missed by many family friends and people she had helped. Sue was an earthbound angel.
Sue was born June 28, 1951, in Tama, Iowa to Charles and Harriet (Ditmar) Curry.
The family will greet friends on Monday, June 12, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Sue.

I worked with Sue at the hospital in Marshalltown. She was a wonderful nurse and co-worker. We shared many laughs together. She will be greatly missed. My thoughts are prayers are with her family.
