Patrick Perseus Stitt

Patrick Perseus Stitt, age 2, passed away in his sleep on May 25, 2023. Patrick was born prematurely July 6, 2020. He was born with spina bifida, club feet, and hydrocephalous (fluid on the brain). He had over six surgeries since he was born, but still after all that he always had a smile on his face. He always made people happy even when they were feeling sad. Patrick was thriving day by day and getting stronger. During his short life he touch many lives and was loved deeply by his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Ashley Brooks; father, Christopher Stitt; siblings, Zeek Stitt, London Stitt, and Bruce Stitt; grandparents, Michelle Brooks, Donald Brooks, and Roxane Husted; uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Patrick was preceded in death by his uncle, Chris Davis; grandfather, Larry Elings; and great uncle Joseph Brooks.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 5, 2023 held at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2023 also at the funeral home followed by burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Des Moines. Luncheon to follow at Experience Church, 2559 E Euclid Ave., Des Moines.

His uncles Justin Brooks, Brandon Brooks, Chris Brooks, and brother Zeek Stitt have the honor of carrying him to his final resting place.
