Rebecca Alberta Irvin, 99, passed away May 21, 2023 at Trinity Care Center. She was born July 19, 1923 in Des Moines, Iowa to her parents John and Sarah (Henkle) Plummer. She married the love of her life, Charles W. Irvin Sr. on September 18, 1943 in Bethany, Missouri. Rebecca worked for the State of Iowa Revenue Department until she retired. She was a proud member of the VFW Post 738 and enjoyed being on the Friday Owls Bowling League.

Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Sarah Peterson; step-son, Raymond Irvin; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Irvin Sr.; sons, David M. Irvin and Charles Irvin Jr.; step-son, John Irvin; parents, John and Sarah Plummer; brother, John Wm Plummer; and half-brother, Albert Plummer.
