Robert (Bob) Starcevic

Bob Starcevic, 88, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, May 14, 2023.

Bob was born May 12, 1935, in Des Moines, Iowa to Alex and Mildred Starcevic. He was self-employed and owned his own drain cleaning business – Bob’s Sewerooter Service, founded in 1963.

He is survived by his sons, Steve Starcevic (Deniece Gaudineer) and Mark Starcevic; grandchildren, Megen Starcevic (Joe Schminkey), Ryan Starcevic (Katie), and Austin Starcevic; great-grandchildren, Hailey Starcevic, Liam Starcevic, and Joey Schminkey; sisters, Georgie McReynolds, Binny Cleghorn, and Mary Lankford; brother, Larry Starcevic (Charene); and many other extended family and friends.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Starcevic.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
