I met Nannette in 1977 at my first real job right out of college at the Small Business Administration Disaster Assistance Office in Des Moines. I think that might have been her first job with the SBA too. She was such a great colleague and became a wonderful and terrific friend. After I moved on from there we lost touch, but I never forgot about Nannette. I was saddened to learn of her passing, but on the other hand the thought of Nannette brought back some great memories. I am sure her family has many, many fond memories of her too and I hope those memories serve as a comfort to you. May her memory be eternal.

Melinda n Steve,
I just learned tonight of Nannettes passing. Im sending you and all her family my sincere sympathy. I will ask God to give you strength n comfort n peace now and in all your tomorrows.
I had the pleasure of sitting beside her and chatting before we got our haircuts. She was so very warm and friendly. She made it seem as though we were not strangers, but instead familiar friends.
