Jack L. Robuck

Jack L. Robuck, age 53, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at Taylor House Hospice with his family by his side.

Jack was born November 4, 1969, in Des Moines, Iowa to James and Gladys (Mathis) Robuck. He played baseball for Grandview Little League and was awarded the Sportsmanship Award many times. He always supported the team, and he carried those values with him into adulthood. He was always there for anyone in need and was respectful of everyone.

He was a yard man for Gilcrest Lumber. He lived a quiet life and enjoyed time with his family and friends. He loved race cars and was a fan of stock car races and Nascar. He was an also an avid Iowa State fan. He was a fun and genuine person. Jack was compassionate and loving, and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his siblings, Roy Robuck (Catherine), Thelma “Sissy” Vavra, and James Edward Robuck; nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation will occur and there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
