Donald W. Gilson

Donald William Gilson, age 79, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Donald was born May 27, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa to Clyde and Florence (Pryne) Gilson. He served in the U. S. Army Reserves and was an accountant for the Iowa Lottery.

Donald was an avid reader and enjoyed the many moments with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gilson; sons, Matthew John Gilson and Steven Patrick Gilson; brothers, Clyde Michael Gilson III (Linda) and Robert Gilson (Diane); and other extended family and friends.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Florence Gilson; and his daughter, Angela Kay Gilson.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
