Chim Van Lo

Chim Van Lo, 61, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Chim was born October 24, 1961, in Vientiane, Laos to Bounhao V. Lo and Lane Thi Ca.

He enjoyed watching football and staying busy working on the house and fixing things. Chim was very family oriented. He was supportive of his wife, children, and siblings and their families. He also enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife, Naly Cavan; children, Chris Van Lo and T. J. Lo; siblings, Soan Leovan, Michael (Tick) Lo, Som (Paul) Disse, Cho (Som Van) Lo, Chan (Thi) Lo, Oth (William) Oliver, Koy (Lavanh) Lo, Penh (Lena) Lo, Manivone (Alonso) Villalobos, and Thanh Lo; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Chim was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral service at 12:00 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave, Des Moines.
