Terrianne “Terri” Scully, age 57, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Terri was born on November 22, 1965, in Fairmont, Minnesota.
Terri loved her job working for West Des Moines School District for 19 years as a bus driver, the children on her route were loved and cherished. Her co-workers were like family and a great source of support throughout her life. Terri made fast friends with all who met her, her feisty stubborn spirit endeared her to all. She will be deeply missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving children Ed Stanley and Kyle Scully, mother Joyce Sego, brother Kevin (Betty) Mortenson, sisters Kathy Jo (Mel) Knutson, Traci (Byron) White, and Sara Ransom, many cousins, friends and extended family.
Terri was preceded in death by her husband Michael Scully, father Edward Mortenson, step-father Larry Sego, and Kyla Branchcomb.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.

So Nana Terri was my best friend and she had a huge impact on my life. She was my biggest supporter. I wish I could have been able to spend more time with her before she passed away but she is in a better place now and she is no longer in pain.

I am so very sorry to hear of Terri's passing
She was a true fighter she never gave in. She was always there for me and i was there for her. She helped people. Her kiddos on the routes loved her. she will truely be missed. R I P My Friend. you definately earned your wings.....
