I only knew Jerry in high school as he attended the same MYF group that I did. I was surprised by his obituariy and it flooded my mind with memories. He was always such a fun-loving guy. If he was around I knew we'd have a good time! I'm so sorry for your loss.

I was saddened to read the paper and see Jerry's obit. We have not kept in contact, but it was still a shock. I have good memories of our rides to Tech each day with Dave Wilkens. Time has gone too fast and I regret not keeping in better contact. My best wishes to Jan and the entire family. He was a great guy.

I did not know Jerry very well. But from the stories I heard from my mother and Jan, I know Jerry was a Blue Ribbon husband, father, grandfather and brother.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time.

I am requesting prayers for Jerry from www.medicalmissionsisters.org he as well as all employees & retired have been in their prayers. As well as their families. Whenever I had a hard machine problem to solve. I knew Jerry Barton was there to solve. He has left his foot prints with the Wittern Group. I am sure he is in heaven, from his leading by example, his family have been left with a husband & father they can be proud of. As long as Jerry is remembered, he will never be gone or forgotten.

Jan and family, his passing seems unrealistic. I cant imagine him not always being there because thats who he was, and always will be. We shared umpteen years of work and never lost the connection. Angels, prepare for reorganization/re-engineering.
Jerry, Go for It!
