Linda Austin

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at Grace Church, 4200 East 25th Street. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Linda was born May 7, 1952, in Marshalltown to Joan and Norris Baie. Linda worked as a seamstress for Bob Allen and for Van Ginkel. She was a member of Grace Church and the Grace Quilters. Linda volunteered at the Iowa Family Policy Center. She loved spending time with her family. She loved making quilts and clothes for her family and those in need.

Linda is survived by her husband, Steve; her daughter, Angel (Chris) Hesseltine, their children,, Ryan, Amanda and LeeAnne; her son, Steve Jr. (Jennifer) Austin, their children, Blake, Victoria and Ashleigh; her sister, Emily (Fernando) Garcia; 5 step-brothers and 3 step-sisters and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials may be directed to Linda's family in her loving memory.
