Jennifer Henderson

Jennifer Rene Henderson, 47, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at her home. She was born February 7, 1976 in Des Moines.

Jennifer graduated from Hoover High School and worked many years in the mailroom at Nationwide. She was a talented crafter and enjoyed doing cross stitch, making holiday calendars, and various other projects. She had a love of animals and playing games with her family, especially cards, dominos, and Farkle. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends.

Jennifer is survived by her daughter, Alexandria (Anthony Allen) Olson; grandmother, Marie Vranich; aunt, Cathy (Dennis) Whitlatch; uncle, Steve (Tori) Vranich; cousins, Tony Whitlatch, John Vranich, Gage Vranich, Emma Vranich, Mason Whitlatch; special friends, Shawn Glenn and Todd Lang; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Henderson; grandfather, Bill Vranich; and her beloved dog, Hank.

A memorial visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the family or the Animal Rescue League in Jennifer’s loving memory.
