Brenda DeAnne Loy, 66, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at Taylor House Hospice in Des Moines.
Brenda was born August 1, 1956, in Des Moines, Iowa to Duane and Delores (Burris) Loy. She worked at Methodist Hospital as a Patient Care Tech.
She is survived by her brother Randy Loy, niece Amy (Zac) Steben, nephews Tibbe Bouwers and Matt Loy, special cousin Kris Davis Johnson, other loving relatives and many special friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Delores Loy and her grandparents.
Services will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023, at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Glendale Cemetery after the service.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in loving memory of Brenda.
