Mary Elam

Mary Beth Elam, age 56, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, at MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center.

Mary was born August 13, 1966, in Putnam, Missouri to Harold and Charlotte (Corethers) Elam.

She was a hockey fan and enjoyed going out to eat, especially if it was for sushi. Some of her favorite snacks were Almond Joys and Mountain Dew.

Mary is survived by her many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Mary’s name may be directed to the Animal Rescue League in honor of Mary’s love of all animals.
