So very sorry to hear of Kurt's passing. I've known him since elementary school and Sunday school at Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, and throughout high school. I'll always remember his genuine, sweet smile and good nature.
I went to a dance at the Y with him, at about age 12 or 13, and much more recently, saw him and talked with him at our 50th class reunion in Marshalltown, where I also met Teddy, a very gracious person.
My sincere condolences go out to Mary Ann and her family. May God's presence and comfort be with your family and close friends during this time.

Such a sweet man, with a warm smile and great laugh. Preferring 'snail mail' and the phone to emails, he always peppered his envelopes with joyful stickers. Usually of butterflies, rainbows and Peace signs. He will be missed and my and Jeffrey's hearts go out to all who loved, and will miss him.

Such a kind soul ---- always had a smile, no matter what. Working with him and Teddy at Wellmark just made life that much better. Great memories, and a very fond memory of lunch last year with him and Kimberly B. He will be sorely missed. God Bless!
