Alice Carter

Alice Carter, 89, died Thursday November 19, 2009 at Iowa Health Hospice Taylor House. Alice was born on February 12, 1920 in Wapello, Iowa to Myron and Flossie (Adamson) Daily.

Alice is survived by her husband of 71 years; Kenneth E. Carter, sons; Ken (Bonnie) Carter and Myron (SueAnn) Carter, 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; two sisters Helen Iten and Myra McHaffe.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters; Martha Walker and Shirley Walker.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday November 21, 2009, at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, 209 Franklin Street, Wapello, Iowa. Burial will follow at the Wapello Cemetery. A visitation with the family present will be one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Alice.
