Gloria Coleen Robertson, age 89, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at University Park Nursing and Rehab in Des Moines.

Gloria was born December 3, 1933, in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert T. and Vera L. (McDonald) Jeffries. She was a resident of the Des Moines area for her entire life.

She is survived by her children, Lenny (Debbie) Robertson, Cindy (Clifford) Morrison, and D’Wayne (Karen) Robertson; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Robert Jeffries and Nellie Goodes; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Vera Jeffries; husband, Ivyl Robertson; brother, James Jeffries; sister, Barbara Garcia; an infant son, Lanny (twin to Lenny); and grandson, Harvey Moody.

Graveside service will take place Monday, April 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Des Moines.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Gloria.
