Gerald K. Miller

Jerry Miller 89, passed away November 18, 2009. Funeral services will be 2 PM Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Ft. Des Moines United Methodist Church with burial following at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday at Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home.

Jerry was a life long resident of Des Moines and retired owner of the Southside Family Super Value. He was a proud Air Force Veteran of WW II and recipient of the Purple Heart.

Passed before him was his wife Maurine and daughter, Barbara. He is survived by his children, David Miller and Janice Francisco of Maui, HI and Dan Miller of Des Moines; his companion, Martha Coleman; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Ft. Des Moines United Methodist Church.
