Geraldine Turner

Geraldine L. Turner, age 92, of Des Moines, Iowa passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023, at Altoona Nursing and Rehab.

Geraldine was born April 21, 1930, in Anderson, Indiana to Roy R. Turner and Mary Marie Wilson.

Geraldine enjoyed Group Activities including Bingo, conversing with neighbors, and holidays with her family were her favorite.

Survivors include daughter Joanna Lewis, son Roger Battin, son Robert (Nancy) Battin, and Sonja Battin. Geraldine was blessed with eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her son Carey L. Battin, son Franklin Battin, and Dell O. O. Lewis.

Future arrangements will be provided to family and friends when available.
