Micheal Leroy Enos, Sr.

Micheal Leroy Enos, Sr., age 67, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Mike was born December 22, 1955, in Des Moines, Iowa to Larry Charles Enos and Jacqueline Kathleen (Gray) Fleming. He graduated from Tech High School in Des Moines. He worked in maintenance for many years. Mike enjoyed working with his hands, woodworking, and his grandchildren. He loved listening to live music and watching his granddaughters race lawnmowers.

He is survived by his mother, Jackie Fleming; sons, Mike (Tanya) Enos and Jimmy (Nikki) Enos; grandchildren, Claire, Grace, Christopher (Haley), Alexander, Nicholas, Lilywhite, and Iris; great-grandchildren, Oakleigh and Lakelyn; brother, Mark (Susan) Riekens; nephew and niece, Matthew and Rachel; sister, Lorna Greenland; step-mother, Nancy Enos; and many other extended family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Mary Gray; father, Larry Enos; step-father, Jerold “Fud” Fleming; and brother, Larry Enos.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Burial will take place at Berwick Cemetery after the funeral.
