Josephine Lenzini, 76, passed away surrounded by her family on March 17, 2023 in Des Moines. She was born in Frassinoro, Italy, on July 25, 1946, the daughter of Nello and Elide Medici.
Josephine’s family was her entire life. She loved them unconditionally. Josephine loved to travel and vacation in Florida. Her bank customers at Community State Bank in Ankeny were more than friends to her, they were like family to her. Josephine cherished her many lifelong friends.
Josephine is survived by her loving husband, Frank; daughters Donna (Brian) Patton and Julie (Bill) Seamands; brother Sante (Maryann) Medici; sister Isolena (Larry) Biondi; grandchildren Madison (Nick) Pardekooper, Cole (Adriana) Patton, Nate Seamands and Josie Patton; great grandchildren, Colbie Pardekooper and Kasey Pardekooper, along with a host of family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Nello and Eldie Medici.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at All Saints Catholic Church, 650 NE 52nd Ave., Des Moines, Iowa. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to family in loving memory of Josephine.

Ive only had the opportunity to meet Josephine a few brief times but I know she was a wonderful woman! I could see it in Franks eyes and hear it in his voice every time he spoke of her. Im truly sorry to hear of her passing.

I am so sorry to hear of Josephine's passing. My thoughts are with all of her family. I first met her when I worked at Broadway Oil and she and Frank were dating. She helped me work through the process of getting a loan for my home.
