Patricia "Pat" Ann Cannon

Patricia “Pat” Ann Cannon, 85, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Pat was born August 2, 1937, in Des Moines, Iowa to Merle and Gladys (Reid) Pattison. She worked in the Human Resources Department at Methodist Medical Center for 33 years. Pat enjoyed volunteering at Highland Parks Festival in her younger years. She was a member of the Elks Lodge #98 and enjoyed cooking, reading, painting, and flower gardening. Pat was very independent and loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Cannon (Brett Bendixen); grandchildren, Lara Reed, Andrew Reed (Meggen Richards); great-grandchildren, Kelsie, Devan, and Shelby Reed; great-great-grandchild, Alyzae Nall; and other extended family and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Cannon; son, Jeffrey Cannon; parents, Merle and Gladys Pattison; and brothers, Jerry and Perry Pattison.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Pat and her husband, Larry will be laid to rest together at Laurel Hill Cemetery after the services.
