Anne Cheryl Campfield, age 78, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Anne was born January 20, 1945, in Moline, Illinois to 2nd Lieutenant Ken (KIA WWII) and Dorothy (Barker) Severs. Her mother remarried James Gamble and adopted Anne.

She enjoyed reading, her pets and spending time with friends.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Campfield (wife Nina); stepson, Kelly Fetters; brother, James Gamble (wife Barbara); sister, Laurie Israel; grandchildren, Casie Campfield, Trey Campfield (wife Megan), Kelly Fetters Jr, Kevin Fetters and Autumn Fetters.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Virgil Fetters.

There will be a visitation from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines.
