Rick has been a part of the drag racing family ever since we started racing some 30+ years ago. Craig always enjoyed visiting with him while they both watched family members race. Our prayers go out to the whole family.

I was sad to read of you husbands passing. 52 years is a long time to be married. My husband passed shortly before our 53rd anniversary. It is difficult for the wife missing her spouce whom she has loved & cared for all those years. It is good to remember that it is the family left behind suffers from the loss but he is in a better place with no more pain & suffering & has gone ahead to prepare a place for his family when the time is right. My sincere condolences!

We raced with Rick in the "Good Ol' Days" back in the 80's. He was a fierce competitor and I am proud to call him friend. He will be sorely missed by the racing community. RIP Rick, fly high.

For the 10 years we raced at Eddyville I cherished Rick as a friend on and off the track. Racers are a close knit family, but Rick was special, his competivness, social personality, and love of Sharon, Ricky, and family. Rick made me look forward to Saturday night. God Bless him.

Blessed to be friends. Good memories growing up riding bikes, camping out in the back yard. (Sneaking beer)
