Forrest Glick, Sr.

Forrest Glick, 66, passed away on February 27, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. He was born in Des Moines on October 28, 1956, son Carl and Betty Glick.
Forrest worked for Jorgensen Construction for many years as a mechanic. He played guitar in Thunder Road. Forrest loved to stay busy with projects. He loved his son and his family.
Forrest is survived by his son, Forrest Leon Glick Jr., (Emily); mother of his child, Carla Lee Glick and many sisters, brothers, cousins and many friends.
Forrest is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Betty Glick and sisters, Kathy Boozell and Jean Dever.
No services are planned at this time.

So sorry to hear of your passing. My first real love. Many decades have passed since I last saw him. I hope he had a wonderful life and family.
When we were together during the So,s Your Mothers years we had a lot of good times. Good memories.
And some not so good..but I wish you and your family peace.

IM VERY VERY SADDENED TO HEAR OF BUDS PASSING,,WE WERE LIKE BROTHERS,,LIKE BROTHERS SHOULD BE,,I LIVED WITH BUD AT HIS DADS PLACE ON 242 HACKLEY AVE.,IF I GOT THE ADDRESS RIGHT,,BUD AND I HAD SOME FUN TIMES TOGETHER,,,
ONE TIME AS EVERYBODY SHOULDVE KNOWN SOMETIMES BUD HAD CRAZY STREAK HIT HIM,,,
AND WHILE ON A MT.27"BIKE(BICYCLE)I WAS COMING RIGHT IN FRONT IF BUDS DADS HOUSE GOIN VERY FAST ABOUT AT LEAST 40 MPH,,AND ALL OF A SUDDEN BUD THREW HIS BIKE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME ON PURPOSE ,,FOR WHAT REASON IM NOT SURE,,UNLESS HE THOUGHT I WAS GOIN TO FAST AND WAS GOING TO HURT MY SELF,,,,
THAT WAS THE"ONLY TIME" EVER THT I GOT SO MAD AT BUD I WANTED TO BEAT HIM UP WITH MY BIKE,,OTHER THEN THAT TIME BUD AND I REMAINED LIKE BROTHERS EVERY SINCE ID 1ST MET HIM IN THE 1970'S,,,I TRIED TO SEE BUD ABOUT 5-6 MONTHS AGO WHILE STAYING IN DES MOINES THEN,,AND COULDN'T EVER SEEM TO GET TO SEE HIM,,,
BUD,,YOULL BE MISSED BY MANY,,,I THANK GOD YOU AND I GOT TO TAKE THAT MOTORCYCLE TRIP WHEN I CAME WITH YOU AND STAYED AT YOUR DADS CARLS PLACE,,,AS ALWAYS,,I WILL MISS YA AND WISH I COULD'VE GOT TO SEE YA BACK AROUND 5-6 MONTHS AGO,,,

My Condolences to family .Sorry to not make it to service,Bud and I went back quite a long time,we played alot of guitar,run around town,and he helped me out when I was down and out..I want to remember him as he was then..We brought alot of happiness to one another by just hanging out..Rock easy on that big stage of eternity..Higgy
