Wayne Northway, age 89, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2023.

Wayne was born January 17, 1934 to his parents Fred and Iva (Baysinger) Northway. He was a lifelong trucker and retired at the age of 85. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and hunting for mushrooms. In his younger years he was a semi-professional baseball player. He continued his love for baseball by playing softball into his 60’s.

He is survived by his children, Rick (Stacey) Northway, Mark (Kelly) Northway, David Northway, and Rachelle (Brad) Adams; grandchildren, Andy, Adam, Kaila, Tricia, Cale, Joel, Morgan, Travis, Garrett, Daniel, and Jeremy; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family, and many friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Marilyn Northway; parents, Fred and Iva Northway; three brothers; and two sisters.

Family is in the process of planning a memorial service for both Wayne and Marilyn to be held later this spring.

In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the Taylor House in Wayne’s name.
