Sally Marie Borkovec

Sally Marie Borkovec, age 74 died Monday, February 6, 2023 at Wesley Acres, in Des Moines Iowa, under the care of Hospice.

Sally was born on June 17, 1948, in Marshalltown, Iowa, to Walter and Helen (Cordt) Bru. She grew up in Marshalltown and graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1966. Sally was married February 27, 1968 to Paul Arney. They were later divorced. They had two children, Lisa and Erin.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Ludgood of West Des Moines, IA and Erin Arney of Eugene, OR; siblings, Karen (Arnold) Temple of Salem, OR, Jon (Cindy) Bru of Marshalltown, IA, Barbara Couch of Brookings, OR, and Susan Myers of Marshalltown, IA; along with several nieces and nephews.
