Artie Edward Smith

Artie Smith, 73, passed away January 7, 2023 at Broadlawns.

Artie was born October 5, 1949. He loved fishing off the dock at Saylorville Lake and watching Sci-Fy shows including Doctor Who and Star Trek. Artie also enjoyed antiques. He loved watching Antique Roadshow and Pawn Stars. Most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was the one person you could always count on and he would do anything for those he loved.

Artie is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Artie Smith; sisters, Mary Derry and Royetta Crawford; brothers, Tommy Smith and Danny Smith; nephew, Arthur (Shellie Beebe) Derry; friend, Shonda Smith; and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Smith and Florence Smith.

Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
