John A. Wilson, Sr.

John Arthur Wilson, Sr., age 50, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

John was born February 22, 1972 in Des Moines, Iowa to Wilbert and Linda Wilson.

He graduated from Dowling Catholic High School in Des Moines in 1990. After high school, he was an entrepreneur of many things. He went on to graduate from Drake University where he attended the law program. John enjoyed anything about cars, watching documentaries, model rocket building, tinkering with different things, and installing music equipment.

He is survived by his sons, John Wilson II (Autumn), Samuel Wilson, and Mathew Wilson; and his grandsons, Jacob Wilson, John “Dylan” Wilson III, and William Wilson.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Linda Wilson.

There will be no services held at this time.

I have knowen u since I was like 14 years old we use to hang out scooping the loop and take off to Kansas city our moms wanted to beat our asses for always makin then worry u was always the one who could make anyone laugh I have not seen u in many many years sorry everything ended like it did.
