Danny Gene King, 68, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023.

Danny was born May 1, 1954, in Russell, Iowa to Clifton King and Emma Gene (Wright) Emery. Danny was an Iron Worker and a proud member of Local Union 67. He enjoyed cars, computers, and spending time with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. His favorite pastime was arguing with anyone about anything!

He is survived by his wife, Linda “Sue”; children, Sherry (Stephen) Gogan, Daniel (Jennifer) King, Lance (Dorothea) King, Rachel (Joseph) Deets; mother-in-law, Mary Hamilton; and nine grandchildren.

Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton King and Emma Gene Emery; and his brother, Bobby King.

Graveside service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 at Miller Cemetery in Harrison County, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Danny.
