Joseph Anthony Riccio Sr passed away on January 8, 2023. Joseph was born in Des Moines on March 10, 1950 to Margaret and Anthony Riccio. He attended East High School where he met the love of his life, Linda Bown. They married in 1968 and remained united until Linda's passing in 2015. Together they raised two sons, Joseph Anthony Jr and David Joseph Riccio. Joseph enjoyed cars and his Corvette, playing drums in a number of bands in the area and spending time with his grandchildren David Jr and Alexis.

Joseph is survived by his two sons Joseph Anthony Riccio Jr (Monica) and David Joseph Riccio (Lisa), two grandchildren, Alexis Riccio, and David Riccio Jr, his sister Carmela Halverson, and great granddaughter Hazel Brooks. He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Anthony Riccio, his brother James Riccio, and his wife Linda Riccio.

Joseph was cremated and services are pending.
