I work at the Ace Hardware around the corner from Dale. He came in often.
Today, he crossed my mind as I hadn't seen him in awhile. I'm saddened to see he passed.
I so enjoyed our talks when he came in. He'd often come up just to show me his cars. He loved his cars, but what he loved more was his family. I don't recall a conversation we had that he didn't mention his family.
I'll miss our talks over hardware.
Being a female in a male dominated field, he never doubted my advice. I will always appreciate that.
My condolences to all who will be affected by his absence.
